What to watch on your extra Leap Year Day

Leap for joy, it is a Leap Year. February 29, 2020, is an extra day everyone receives. This year gifts us 366 days. What are you going to do with the extra day? It's a freebie, so make the most out of it. Here at Words Travel Film, we are anxious to use the day to read, stream and plan some fun adventures.

Our suggestions on how to make the most of your Leap Day.

1. Spend the day binge-watching an exciting series. Our suggestions:

Jack Ryan (two seasons) on Amazon for action, excitement, and international drama, series based on Tom Clancy's novels. The Kominisky Method on Netflix, a funny binge-worthy series, starring Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin. Written by Chuck Lorre.

For a romantic holiday spin, watch Leap Year. Click to find out where to stream it for free.

2. Curl up with a good book, have you read Educated: A Memoir? Or if stories based on actual events are not your thing, check out a good legal thriller, John Grisham, The Reckoning.

3. Take some time to journal. Check out the variety of journals to collect your memories available for under $9.99 bookswithsoul.com. It's the beginning of the year, try a few months of journaling. I like Just Breathe on Amazon. One small positive thought in the morning can change your day.

4. Plan a trip, February has some hot travel deals. Here are our picks:

A 4-star beachfront all-inclusive 4 night 5-day vacation including flights for under

London & Paris? There's a limited time deal for 6 nights, rail pass and airfare out of NYC for $ 799 a person. Start in London with two nights and breakfast, included is a one-way euro star rail ticket to Paris and then wind it up with 4 nights in Paris. A few extras for another $99 per person. Check it out here.

Whatever you decide to do with your extra day is up to you, but don't waste it, you will not get another one until 2024.
